The institution of higher education for business engineering also offers the faculty of production and distribution logistics. In this faculty students are confronted with the basics of planning and controlling processes including procurement, producing and in time delivery of goods as well as expert disposal of hazardous waste materials. These aspects are a must for a successful business relationship and therefore they are an integral part of the curriculum.

Apart from sound technical and business engineering skills, thinking in whole entities, setting up networks with the help of modern communication technologies as well as a sound knowledge of the legal framework are the main aspects of this practically oriented faculty. In addition to this, business administration, calculation of costs as well as controlling and marketing are taught.
All these different elements of the curriculum offer the alumni excellent chances at the job market and  qualify them for higher positions.

Alumni  are qualified in all branches of industry to optimize the whole planning and controlling process. Thinking in whole entities enables the alumni to see administrative and technical necessities in context and to optimize them in logistical respect.

 

Access to the tertiary sector

A successfully completed education at the vocational college entitles to start studying at a university, college, academy or a polytechnic study course. If a corresponding polytechnic study course is chosen the duration of study can be abbreviated.
